Excellent Pinterest Toddler Activity

While looking for some creative activities that also might allow us to explore different textures, I came upon this pin:

We tried it out this morning while our little Deputy slept in, and while W had a great time mixing food coloring and shaving cream (which he called sour cream the whole time), I thought the paintings came 

out cool. 

Follow the instructions on the original pin. This could not be easier, and we had a great time talking about "dyeing the sour cream" and it being "goopy." 

I had already taped some letters for The Sheriff to make for him and John. This was the perfect opportunity to paint them!

I used a plastic fork to scrape the extra shaving cream off of the card stock which seemed to work better than a popsicle stick.
