Project Pinterest a Day Late

As our phone lines and Internet access were down yesterday, blog posting and reading was not in the cards, but I hope all of our friends linking up with AP for Project Pinterest won't mind my tardiness. There are 54 link-ups right now, and 55 just sounds better right? So if anyone else wants to be tardy to the party, there better be enough to make it to a good solid number ok?

This week I cheated a bit and didn't make this project since last week, but with AP's recent PostalPix discovery, I couldn't help but share in her love. I did this Pinterest inspired project over the summer, and it's one of my favorite crafts to date:

We had an empty nook that needed something. In fact, it's still a work in progress, but I love how our canvases fit perfectly to greet us as we walk through the hall.

I won't go through all of my steps because it's been done, but I'll share what I learned along the way:
1. You'll have trouble choosing just 9 pictures, hence my two canvases. I had my husband choose his favorite IGs from his phone, and I choose my favorite 9. And of course I had extra printed because well, a girl needs options and PostalPix makes it too easy. If you haven't gotten on board yet, DO!

And mine

2. I also discovered that I love these so much that they'll have to be made every year or so and for sure we need to update when #2 makes his/her appearance.

3. I am in love with IG projects. Can you have too many printed pictures up in your house because these are on the agenda:
