Halloween's Over and It's Practically Christmas!

Just a few short weeks ago I wrote about how I felt September was creeping by. Looking at my calendar during this first week of November, I'm feeling that the month is practically over. We've got a wedding road trip, holiday visits, flu shots to schedule, baby #2 check up visits, and turkey play dates to create a full plate, not to mention the Thanksgiving activities we'll try to do at home.

We had a quick 48 hours of "Fall" weather a couple of weeks ago, and it was a great reminder of all of the sweet moments this time of the year in all it's busy-ness will hold.

How about these two practicing with the tripod while I ran errands:

And backyard football:

Not to mention adorable grins:

Just as our calendars fill up, may our hearts find themselves full of gratitude for God's blessings this month of November and anticipation of His greatest gift as Christmas draws near.
